Customer Service Specialist I

Core Focus

The purpose of the Customer Service Specialist I is to assist wholesale customers with order management. Customer Service Specialist will also provide an exceptional customer experience to both, internal and external customers (wholesale) with order support to address inquiries about products and service.

Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process a high-volume of quality orders in a time sensitive environment
  • Attempt to upsell by suggesting styles/colors that might be of interest to them.
  • Communicate with various departments within Boxercraft to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Use of standard office programs and internal applications.
  • Educate customers where applicable to prevent the need for future contacts. (ie; shipping, return policy, on line ordering for non-print orders)
  • Document all interactions via the order tracking system.
  • Provide quality service and support in a variety of areas including, but not limited to: billing, placing print orders, and system troubleshooting with a high sense of urgency.
  • Maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making.
  • Handle concerns in the best interest of both customer and Boxercraft
  • Support (assigned) internal and/or external customers including sales and customers.
  • Maintain web order/ back orders
  • Run reports, research problems, provide information to requesters
  • Types of contacts – Phone, email and Chat

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years of college/ Associates degree.
  • 0 -2 Year Customer Service Experience preferred.High level of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Inventory Allocation Specialist

Core Focus

To optimize the on hand inventory allocations to sales orders for release to DC while maximizing revenue and meeting customer delivery requirements as best we can. The Inventory Allocations Specialist develops, maintains, analyzes and executes warehouse level distribution plans for all customers and is a contributor in the SCM team, responsible for all aspects of inventory allocation.

Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute customer order allocations throughout the day, following existing policies and timelines through the use of A2000 software to meet customer delivery dates
  • Analyze process and results and recommend process improvements where necessary
  • Communicate with Supply Chain unusual demands to expedite replenishment of inventory
  • Research back order and out of stock issues; working with SCM to resolve
  • Communicate inventory concerns to SCM
  • Communicate with the DC and SCM all issues related to replenishment of warehouses and inventory allocation
  • Work closely with Customer Service and Sales regarding inventory availability
  • Use judgment and discretion on how to best resolve issues with limited supervision
  • Make recommendations to maximize revenue and improve service levels to customers
  • Monitor allocation process effectiveness
  • Data entry support

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of inventory-related experience and/or customer service.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and aptitude to learn new tools and applications quickly.
  • Ability to evaluate financial and customer service requirements and translate into actionable allocation of inventory.
  • Able to use logic and methods to solve problems and determine effective solutions.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-starter and willing to take initiative and make decisions.
  • Ability to work closely with a diverse group of people.
  • Effective and clear communication skills, verbal and written. Strong listening skills.

Production Scheduler

Core Focus

The Production Scheduler will schedule production plans for assigned production facility to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company's productive capacity with some complexity, multiple lines and with scheduling responsibilities as the primary function. Establishing the production schedule will involve working closely with operations leaders, material planners, and others to coordinate manufacturing plans that achieve the company objectives relative to customer service, efficient resource/capacity utilization and inventory investment. The production scheduler will be responsible for analyzing scenarios that balance demand and supply while optimizing inventory and minimizing the impact of demand volatility.

Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and drive resolution of processing errors
  • Create and publish daily/ weekly/ monthly factory schedule adherence, capacity, and inventory reports
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for production planning and scheduling
  • Creates and reviews master production schedule, forecast and customer orders, establishing a working sequence of each item on various production systems and priorities to ensure complete and on time shipment according to customer orders or sales forecast projections.
  • Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine production processes, raw material requirements, and number of batches, reducing change over and allergen washes.
  • Confers with department supervisors/checks production status to determine progress of assigned production and schedule attainments.
  • Reviewing the material activity report and issuing purchase orders to vendors for incoming goods.
  • Plans and coordinates with Operations Department of raw materials, packaging and finished goods between vendors and maintains appropriate inventory balances to support production and order fulfillment.
  • Builds and maintains strong working ties as the “first line of defense” with Vendors to handle/resolve various issues to include order placements, ETA’s (estimated time arrivals), call-offs, material defects, etc…
  • Coordinates analysis of physical inventory and inventory levels for planning purposes.
  • Owns weekly schedule by establishing a work sequence for each item through various production resources while smoothing and prioritizing for the Shop Floor to ensure commitments are met, complete and on time according to customer orders or sales projections
  • Provide timely awareness and solutions as demand exceeds capacity and keep management informed of projected overtime requirements to meet the demand.
  • Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 years of Production planning and materials coordination experience including: demand capacity analysis, production planning, purchasing, expediting, and/or inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in ERP/ WMS systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Superior communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Excellent math skills.

Printer Level 1

Role and Responsibilities

  • Print garments using an automated screen press for garment printing/multiple color
  •  Work with a 2 to 3 person team, in all positions of printer, take off, and QC to produce quality garments
  • Able to mix ink as needed for print job
  • Match paperwork (art/work orders/pick tickets) to production screens & garments at a detailed level
  • Meet established production guidelines for output and ship date compliance
  • QC printed garments in comparison to Style Guide Standards & Production Work Orders
  • Maintain a print accuracy level </= 1% error rate
  • Utilize basic PC skills to look up & update orders
  • Maintain neat and safe work area
  • Partner with all production staff to develop ideas to maintain and improve all levels of service and production
  • Handle additional responsibilities and projects as directed by immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Read, write, and speak English
  • Match numbers, letters, and short descriptions on paperwork and product
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic PC skills, Navision preferred, not required
  • Attention to detail and willingness to critique output of print job against set standards and customer expectations
  • Desire to learn other functionalities other than  Level 2 Printer
  • One to five year printing press (manual or automated) experience.
  • Ability to perform minor maintenance and repair on press a plus, not required.

    • Trimming, folding embroidered items as needed.
    • Performing post production quality control.
    • Operates Tajima single & 6 head embroidery machines.
    • Daily maintenance including oiling, control lint/dust build up and organize work area.
    • Maintain high attendance and punctuality.
    • Maintain an error rate of 7% or less per month (damage or over runs).
    • Maintain a production level of 90-107 unit per full day (stitch count driven)***

    Qualifications

    • 1-3 years experience in warehouse/production environment
